Yet, I have never paired them together before until I was scouring my closet (and my sister's closet) to create the perfect wedding attendee outfit and put together various pieces that fit together like a perfect puzzle. Isn't it fitting that I got to wear this happy color marriage at a friends' wedding?
I'm just a tad obsessed with these Jeweliq earrings. And they matched perfectly with the colored stones on the belt! |
Love the back of this dress! |
Dress: Asos | Shoes: Anne Klein | Clutch: DSW | Belt: borrowed from my sister's closet | Earrings: Jeweliq | Bracelets: ILY Couture, Tobi
What colors make you happiest? Are there any colors you look forward to donning this Spring season?
And as always, I share a detail of each wedding that I find unique and special. The backdrop of the wedding ceremony was made up of pages from books! It costs practically nothing if you can find old books that libraries or garage sales give away. How fun is this?
This week's Five for Friday:
1. Favorite new music: Bear's Den -- I discovered these guys on Noisetrade and became an instant fan.
2. Favorite outfit: I've never thought to pair plaid + polkadots and I'm so glad I took the challenge!
3. Favorite splurge: I finally got a DSLR camera! (Thanks for the recs, Fozoh!) No more iPhone photos or point & shoot digital camera Youtube videos! Next step is learning how to use it...
4. Favorite moment of thanks: I've been über sick for the past week and I'm so thankful for the prayers and encouraging words from my dear family & friends. I'm pressing on through it and healing day by day! Love you guys more than words!

5. Favorite example of Love: As you might know if you frequent this place or know me, I love Love. And this week, Jeremy Lin & The Jubilee Project created this amazing video "Lost for Words" that stands as a beautiful example of what a little Love can do.

Thanks so much! :)
DeleteI love those colors together...you look beautiful in them. I also purchased a DSLR camera and have yet to really figure out how to work it. I'm hoping to really tackle that this summer. I love that idea for a backdrop at a weeding. I work at a library and think that I may have found the perfect use for some of the books we discard. Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! That's my goal for this summer too. The backdrop is a great way to upcycle books. I was also thinking it would be fun to "wallpaper" a wall in my house with book pages one day.
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
