STYLE STORY: HAPPINESS BOUTIQUE

True happiness is something we too often feel like we have to search high and low for nowadays. Do you ever feel that way? 

I know I especially feel that way when I let the world guide my happiness. But when I take the time to think about that scary truth, I realize, "How silly!" Why am I letting this world that's filled with so much darkness, hatred and pain, be the deciding factor of my joy? That makes zero sense. It only creates a greater sense of despair and distance from happiness.

Instead, I've learned that I need to choose happiness. It's always been right there within arms reach for me to hold. 

I'm not saying that every moment of life is filled with the expected joys. The unexpected happens, sorrow and pain may come; it's what we choose to do with that sorrow and pain that will affect our happiness and outlook on life.

When I first learned about the Happiness Boutique, my first thought was, "what a fun name for a jewelry store!" Their selection of jewelry, including this beautiful statement necklace grabbed my attention, but not as much as this fun video they shared about spreading happiness!
