STYLE STORY: CONCRETE JUNGLE

My concrete jungle where my dreams are made.

Since moving to this beautiful city exactly 4 years ago, my dreams and my heart have grown exponentially.

Four years ago I hadn't dreamt up Grace in Style and would probably stare at you in disbelief if you told me I'd have this virtual space to share my story. I never would have imagined the beautiful friendships I would make, the incredible people I would meet, the amazing adventures I would have or the exciting opportunities I would be given. The quote by W. Allen, "If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans," is basically the theme to the story of my life.

But I think the biggest lesson is that my dreams have not been big enough. My hopes and dreams are so small and trivial compared to the story God has written for me. May I be so bold as to say that this is probably true for most people. Let's go beyond our dream jobs or dream families and instead, dream of our greater purpose in life; dream of more radical ways to love people and extend grace to others. This world needs so much more love to mend the brokenness.
